Arrival to the island of Ibiza. Today we have the first contact with the island, making an exciting journey through the centuries of history of the ancient city of Ibiza, declared a World Heritage Site, during which we will decipher the most emblematic and beautiful secrets of the ancient Carthaginian metropolis. We will see the walled area of Dalt Vila, the Cathedral and its old and cobbled streets full of history and culture, in addition to enjoying its fantastic panoramic view of the city of Ibiza. We will start our excursions by reaching San José to start the route that will take us to the highest summit of the whole island of Ibiza: Sa Atalaya. With 479 m. altitude it is one of the most impressive places on the island for its wonderful views. After a short break, we will continue on a gentle descent along the entire crest of the mountain. We will cross beautiful forests to arrive in front of the colossal “Magic Island of Es Vedra”. We will descend to the old Punic village – Roman des Ses Paises of Cala d’Hort, with its Punic and Byzantine Necropolis, and then continue to Cala d’Hort and Es Cubells.

We will walk to the port of Ibiza to take the boat for the beautiful crossing to the charming island of Formentera. Once there we will travel by transport to the Faro de la Mola (the lighthouse) from where we can contemplate its wonderful cliffs. Our route will go to Calo des Mort, making a gradual descent between fields and forested areas, gradually approaching the beautiful cliff coast. Once there, the path runs through small places and coves to Mitjorn Beach. There we will find the formidable sandy beach of Ca Mari, probably one of the best on the island. Later we will return again by boat to Ibiza.

We will walk from the Torre de Sal Rosa following the coastal roads of extraordinary beauty, which will lead us to the Tower of Ses Portes. We will cross the Natural Park of Las Salinas, whose uniqueness is based on providing a resting and nesting place for birds in their migrations. We will also pass through the ancient Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta.

We will take a coastal route through the eastern coves starting the walk in the village of San Carlos. Walking along a beautiful coastal path we will pass through several beautiful coves such as Pou des Lleo, Cala Boix, Cala Mastella, Cala Llenya, Cala Nova and Es Cana. At the end of the excursion we can visit a famous hippy market, returning later to the accommodation.

Today we will start in the town of San Mateo where we can see a typical Ibizan church. We will start our route going ithrough small forests, which will take us to Cap de Mossons. There we will discover one of the most enigmatic archaeological remains of the Islands: Torres del Lluc, from where we will have stunning views over the islands of Ses Torretes and Cala Aubarca. We will continue our walk towards Es Broll, an authentic Arab paradise hidden among hills of the center of Ibiza, with lots of vegetation and exuberance in the first Arab settlement of the island, with fresh water, orchards and magnificent irrigation engineering. We will finish the walk in a 17th-century country house where we will have a snack with local wine, cheese and butifarrón.(local sausage)

Our last route through Ibiza will allow us to know the beautiful San Mateo Valley. We will travel an ancient path that will lead us to a wonderful viewpoint over the cliffs, from where we will see the beautiful Cala Aubarca. Once you have reached the viewpoint and enjoyed its splendid views, we will head to the valley to continue towards Es Portixol, an idyllic natural harbor, in an isolated corner of the steep north coast. Halfway we will take a path that will take us to the area of Can Soleilletas.Between forests and with beautiful views over the valleys of the interior, we will continue to the Port of San Miquel, where we will end the excursion by the sea. Time for a swim, or to taste one of the most traditional dishes of the island “Bullit de Peix” in the Balanzat Restaurant, or similar.(For those more experienced groups and who wish to extend the route a little more, you can make an extension to the beach of Benirras About 4km more)
