Things to do in Ibiza during November and December

Gastronomic proposal with Ibiza Sabor

For the sixth year in a row, the food festival ‘Ibiza Sabor’ is taking place, for which 41 restaurants on the island are participating with a special menu that will be available until December 10. This event is an opportunity to get to know the rich cuisine of the island and bring back the most authentic recipes. This year the principal ingredients are almonds, salmon and carobs, very typical on the island.

There will be tapas for 7€ accompanied by local wines, or 25€ menus consisting of an appetizer, a main dish and a dessert (drinks are not included). Among all the dishes that can be found, there will be some emblematic dishes from the area such as “sofrito pagés”, “bullit de peixt” or “flaó” together with more creative and modernist proposals, always with the best ingredients.

In addition, on December 2, there will be a creativity workshop in Es Ventall restaurant with local chefs José Miguel Bonet, Catalina Riera, Íñigo Rodríguez and María Marí.

Take a look at the Ibiza Sabor 2017 program to know all the details of the participating restaurants.

Bicycle and hiking routes

The City Council of Ibiza, through the Sports Board, organizes seven cycling routes and seven hiking routes from November 2017 to May 2018 to be able to enjoy the whole family (children from 12 years of age). Experienced monitors will guide all routes.

The level of difficulty varies according to the excursion, although all the routes are designed for people with an average physical condition.

The next routes are December 3 and 17, January 14 and 28, February 4 and 18, March 11 and 25, April 22 and May 5 and 6. In the official program you can check all the routes’ information.

For singing up for each of the routes, you can do it until 9:00 pm of the Friday before the route in Es Viver pool and in Can Misses. The fee is 3€ if you pay in advance, and 5€ on the same day.

At night

Afterwork in B12

The boring Thursdays are over! You already have a plan when you finish working: afterwork in B12. Every week from 9 pm until January 25, come to this club and dance all night with live music performances at the most cosmopolitan atmosphere on the island.

The night begins with some tapas and ‘happy hour’ until 11 pm. From that moment on, the night continues with the best DJs from the island’s winter scene, such as Mariano Somoza, Chino Païno or Divina Moss, who will get you ready for the weekend.

Fridays and Saturdays at Pacha

Pacha has been since its inception, the only club on the island that has always been open, until this year. This is the first winter in which the mythical club closes its doors, although it seems that it is only an exceptional measure to carry out some improvement works.

In return, the party has been moved to El Hotel Pacha (right in front of the club) on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 pm. Cherry Room, how this session is called, will offer a 100% Pacha atmosphere and a decoration reminiscent of it summer parties. DJs Graham Sahara, Willie Graff and Angel Linde will play funky, deep and house rhythms all night long.

In addition, El Hotel restaurant is open at its usual time from 8:30 pm to 00:30 am with an extraordinary menu prepared by chef Iñigo Rodríguez. Would you like some dinner and party?
