These are three of our favourite restaurants in San Antonio (Ibiza), specially to have fish and seafood.
The perfect restaurant for having great quality seafood, all type of rice dishes and fish in the San Antonio Yacht Club with great views of it.
Let’s start with what matters most to us when we choose a restaurant: the food. Es Nautic offers exquisite Mediterranean proposals with Ibizan and French gastronomy influences, always having product the most important element. Fish is the protagonist and one of its star dishes is the seafood grill of its own hatchery. Among other highlighted dishes is the fried rooster, sea bass cooked in salt or tuna with pepper, having in mind that everything is so good and tasty.
Rice lovers are also in luck because they have an extensive menu with different varieties of paellas and rice with sea flavors. If any of the guests prefer meat, it is not a problem, since they also have high quality products that are cooked on the grill or baked.
Surely you are more than convinced to go to Es Nautic, but in case this was not enough, it is worth noting the wonderful location of the restaurant, in the San Antonio Yacht Club, overlooking the sea and the fantastic sunset that can be seen from this part of the island.
They have a pleasant terrace with porch and sofas where you can have a wine or its specialty, the cava sangria; as well as glazed space inside to enjoy the experience sheltered from excessive heat in summer or cold in winter.
In a villa built in 1901 on the seafront of San Antonio is located this charming restaurant, with a large garden to enjoy the food when the weather is good and with several terraces where you would be able to see some beautiful views.
Villa Mercedes menu is of contemporary Mediterranean inspiration, where there are also references to other cultures and ingredients from other countries. It has delicious and vanguard fish, vegetarian and meat tapas and main dishes.
Basically, it has a wide gastronomic offer that will satisfy all palates as the Norwegian Salmon with wakame seaweed and shitake mushrooms; Galician beef tenderloin with rustic puree, tomatoes and mushrooms or Pacheri with dried tomatoes, baby spinach and escamorza cream.
The kitchen opens at 1pm and offers a special menu for 15€ from Monday to Friday and weekends and holidays for 20€.
In summer, its terrace usually hosts music concerts and becomes the ideal place to celebrate birthdays and events.
If you are looking for fish and seafood Can Pujol is another fantastic place to eat delicious dishes. It is a traditional restaurant that is really appreciated both for locals and tourists because of its fantastic cuisine.
It is a family business opened in 1980 located in San Antonio bay, sitted in an exceptional place right on the beach and only 6 meters away from the sea.
With interior and exterior space, from its pleasant terrace on the sand, you will feel the sea breeze while you taste the highest quality seafood and traditional Ibizan dishes such as the Bullit de Peix or rice dishes. Among its specialties you would also love the grill fish and lobster stew. We would not be surprised if you find it hard to decide what to order, but we have some good news: everything is delicious! It is good to have in mind for allergens or not fish fans, that there is no meat in the menu.
Wait for dessert as you should try one Ibiza’s ypical desserts, the graixonera, as well as its banana and pine nuts flan.
